Use Case Example: Content Translation Services

In our ongoing desire to showcase the near limitless market capabilities of the Latium platform, we present to you a use case example for content translation services.

In this given scenario Karen is the Marketing Director for a local non-profit organization that specializes in community involvement with food donation drives and assisting low income families with vital nutritional needs.

Karen utilizes web, print and multimedia based content platforms to educate and inform the community of ongoing and scheduled initiatives that may be occurring at any given time. While the donations both monetarily and in nutritional form are plentiful, the board of directors prefers for a greater majority of the funds collected to go back to the community they were created to assist.

With that said, Karen has noticed an ongoing need for more accurately translated and presented content to the community in Spanish to further expand their community outreach. While the non-profit organization does not have the budget to hire a translator full time, Karen knows that she can utilize Latium to have several applicants with a varied background and technical experience set available quickly to accomplish her task.

Utilizing the Latium platform, Karen creates a task detailing her position, her needs, and examples of current content and media to be translated.

Using the available Video or Image upload option from the task creation screen, Karen can also upload images or video of current content as an example for the prospective task applicants.

While the current state of the Alpha platform necessitates third party communication methods, future feature integrations will include full-fledged communication tools. This will ensure that the Latium platform houses all necessary tools for task creation, communication and eventual task completion.

Messaging and notifications to come, stay tuned!

While creating the content translations task, Karen is also able to accept or disallow the ability for users to apply for multiple content translations. This will allow Karen to more accurately work within the organization’s budget to spend, while also efficiently ensuring a higher volume of content is translated in a timely manner.

Finally, in an effort to best fine tune total budgeting amounts, Karen is able to set the full budgeted amount, individual contract amounts as well as set the project guaranty to help usher in more serious like-minded task applicants.

Successfully utilizing the Latium platform Karen is able to create a single task of content translation services, while offering it to many possible applicants for quick, timely, efficient completion of the requested task.

We feel that this is one of the MANY tasks well suited to the Latium platform of task creation. With just a little inspiration, the possible task scenarios are near limitless in capacity.
